Festival Aviv
Festival Aviv is a Jewish Dance Festival that has been held for over 50 years in Mexico City. Participants range from 1st graders to senior adults, and it is a week of various presentations. The competition has 2 categories—Rikudim and Contemporary—and is only for 10 - 12th grades in schools and young adults. International groups, like San Diego, Peru, and Israel, are invited.
Olami has 2 competing groups, both of which won 1st place last year, the Purim dance you saw won in the Contemporary Category.
