B'chol Dor V'dor

In every generation a person is obligated to regard themselves as if they had come out of Egypt, as it is said:
"You shall tell your child on that day, it is because of this that the Lord did for me when I left Egypt."

Questions to answer:

  • How can you truly put yourself in this situation?

  • What is our generation’s role in extending/expanding freedom?

Our Conversation

I can put myself in this situation by reminding myself that my parents themselves had to leave a place and G-d brought them to a better place where they can live freely and happily. Extending this freedom is doing everything you can to utilize your freedom to do productive and good things with it. Take advantage of living in the United States.  -Samson
